Teen Killed, Another Critical After Being Hit Crossing 8 Mile

Van involved in pedestrian accident on 8 Mile

SOUTHFIELD (Thurswell Law) – 1 teenager dead and another in critical condition, after being hit by a medical transport van. The northwest Detroit accident happened late Tuesday evening while the teenagers attempted to cross 8 Mile Road for ice cream.  Authorities claim they attend Henry Ford High School, but have not been identified. The driver did stop at the scene of the accident; the investigation continues.
