Judith A. Susskind is a recognized expert in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. She made history in 2002 by winning three medical malpractice jury trials, in a row, in less than 11 weeks.

AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and honored among The Best Lawyers in America, Ms. Susskind has been with The Thurswell Law Firm since 1990. She received her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and earned her law degree from Wayne State University Law School.

For more than 20 years, Ms. Susskind has had tremendous success handling medical malpractice cases. In 2004, she was given the Michigan Lawyers Weekly Lawyer of the Year award, and was labeled by her colleagues as the "winning-est" plaintiffs' lawyer in Michigan. She served as Chairperson of the Negligence Section of the State Bar in 2003-2004; was selected as a Michigan Super Lawyer in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009; and served as President of the Michigan Association for Justice, formerly known as the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association, in 2008-2009.  For the past several years, she has been a speaker and a moderator for medical malpractice law seminars throughout the state, and the nation. 

Ms. Susskind is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, the Macomb County Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Michigan Association for Justice.  She also serves on Case Evaluation Tribunals for Wayne County Circuit Court, Oakland County Circuit Court and Macomb County Circuit Court.
